There was a crooked man, who walked a crook mile,
He searched for his home, that took him a while.
At the end he found his house, it was quite nice,
His happiness didn't last for long, and killed himself twice.
Getting back from the dead, the crooked man was sad,
Thinking to himself: "Why can't I be like the rest?"
The crooked man cried, day and night,
But suddenly – saw a light.
The crooked man looked up, tears in his eyes,
There was a crooked woman who smiles.
They had a crooked conversion, talking a lot,
The crooked man never felt alone.
There was a crooked man with a crooked wife,
They had children, a dog and a cat,
And they all lived together – in a little crooked house.
One day, the crooked man had enough.
He was drinking, going out a lot.
One night, after going back from work,
He accidently killed an old man trying to cross.
"Are you okay?!" ask the crooked man,
But no answer was from the old grand.

Un bruissement d'ailes presque froufroutant sur sa gauche le fit se retourner d'un bond, mais il ne put percevoir qu'un bref mouvement du coin de l'oeil. Ils étaient rapides, bien trop rapides. Jamais le vieux ne réussirait. De nouveau ce bruit soyeux, semblable à des ailes de tourterelles, mais bien plus proche. Dans son esprit il pouvait les voir, tournant au dessus de sa tête comme autant de vautours prêts à la curée.
Le bruit assourdi des détonations résonna et tout autour d'Emmanuel une pluie de plumes commença à virevolter tandis que cinq bruits sourds accompagnaient la chute d'autant de corps autour de lui.
